Serving the community for over three decades, The Coolidge Corner Clubhouse is a Cozy sports bar with tons of televisions and a large selection of domestic and imported beers. The variety and taste packs a serious punch! Their All-Star Lineup of food and drinks include 36 Microbrews on tap, Boston's largest Martini Menu, A Huge Dinner Menu including 50 different Sandwiches, 20 different Mexican food items, 30 different appetizers and Boston's Best Nachos (Boston's Largest Menu Variety), Boston's largest salads (over 40 different salad options), and a Brunch Menu that offers 18 items to choose from. Located between Union and Porter Squares on Somerville Avenue, China Delight is favorite among locals looking for Cantonese-style favorites including Orange Flavor Chicken and Fu Yung Three Treasures. The restaurant was recently refurbished so the interior is clean and the restaurant sports a full bar. China Delight delivers late on the weekends so this hotspot is a favorite among Tufts and Harvard students.

Not for the faint of heart, Ramrod with its intense scene and its more traditional brother bar Machine serve as the venues for gay boys who yearn for either a taste of daddy's denim or an innocuous night of carousing among men. Both bars feature something exciting every night, but the offerings vary monthly. The Rod's MANDANCE (Su 9pm) is an extreme, crowded, scantily dressed mass of male flesh swaying to pumping house. For those looking for a quality mix of clean yet dirty fun, Machine hosts good ol' fashioned foam parties Saturday nights during the summer, and karaoke Thursdays year-round. Other events include pool tournaments and leather and bondage nights. The infamous Back Room promises even more uninhibited fun, but you can only get in if you're shirtless or wearing black leather or rubber. Beer $3.75-5, mixed drinks $3-4.
